Hi, I’m Devon—founder of Village & Nest. I’m here to bring calm and clarity to the spaces where you live, work, and gather.
For years, I was the friend who showed up with bins and labels when someone needed help reclaiming a closet, setting up a nursery, or finally tackling that storage area they couldn’t face alone. After many joyful transformations for friends and family, I decided to turn this work into something more — a way to offer practical, personalized organizing support to others craving more breathing room in their lives.
With a background in project management, event production, and creative problem-solving across the nonprofit and cultural worlds, I bring both structure and care to every project.
I believe that when your space works, your whole life feels a little lighter, and that organizing doesn’t have to be overwhelming or all-or-nothing. For many clients, I am simply an accountability partner or a kind of coach, supporting them as they make the freeing decision to let go of some of the things weighing them down.
Now based in Greenwood Lake, NY, I serve homes and small businesses throughout the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas, including New York City. Whether you’re starting fresh, stuck in endless clutter, or just need a gentle reset, I’d love to help you create a space for yourself that lets you breathe again.

Our Spaces
We’ve worked with home owners and renters, parents of kids and parents of fur babies, overwhelmed families and retirees in transition. Everyone deserves a little breathing room in their life, and we’d love to help you refresh, clear your mind, and find joy in your spaces again.
How It Works
1. We start with a free virtual consultation.
You book a time that works for you, and we talk for 15-20 minutes about what you need the most support with and how we can help. You will be asked to fill out a short form before the call, giving us any info that would be helpful. We typically ask you to either take us on a virtual tour of your space or send pictures.
2. We send you options, ideas, and pricing.
After sending you an overview (generally within 24 hours of the consult call), we’ll answer any questions you have. This overview will also include an estimate of the project timeline; some spaces can be organized in hours, some need days.
3. We schedule our first session!
We find a time that works (usually on weekdays but weekends are possible as well) and get started improving your life.

We know this can feel like a big step, and the inital consultation doesn’t commit you to working with us. We want to hear where you need support and decide together whether we can meet your needs. Just remember: many people do not feel in control of their spaces, and it’s more than okay to ask for help!

Two months into moving into a new house, our playroom was a mess of toys, books and arts and crafts all over the place. I was so daunted by the task that I just avoided it, and since it was such a mess, the kids barely ever wanted to play there. Within just a few hours, Devon managed to make it look so nice and organized, and now our kids play in there all the time! Most importantly, she fixed it up in a way that has been so easy to maintain. I never could have done this myself and am so grateful for her help.
